For the last nineteen years I have been playing, teaching, rehairing bows and repairing violins in London and the south east. Working in all of these fields has enabled me to obtain a unique perspective of your needs, whether as a teacher, pupil or parent. I hope the following pages will be of some use. You may be a parent and looking for some helpful hints regarding practice, or you are looking to buy a beginner violin, viola or cello outfit. You may have discovered an old instrument in the loft and want to know if it can be restored. You may need to get your bow rehaired or your instrument repaired. I hope you will find on this site all that you need to service your requirements.

I have a selection of different sized violins from full sized instruments down to very small. I also have some violas and cellos.
I rehair violin, viola, cello and double bass bows using only white unbleached hair. Black hair is available for double bass bows.
